I can't stress enough how important it is to leave your piercings alone! Touching, twiddling or twisting your jewellery will do your fresh piercing no favours.

👎🏻 Infection risk: Every time you touch your jewellery, you are introducing new bacteria to your piercing.

👎🏻 Irritation: unnecessary movement can cause friction, and damage the immature fistula. And what does irritation lead to? Irritation bumps!

👎🏻 Losing your jewellery: that pretty little attachment can and will come off. Loose jewellery leads to lost jewellery.

Keep it clean, keep it dry, leave it alone 👍🏻
