Our sister studio, Artisan on The Square is Roz’s clay haven. You’re very welcome in both! We moved to Retford from Everton in March 2022 as we entered out fourth year in business as The Pottery.

All the glaze bottles and the paint station have been topped up after the delivery this morning. We’re heading home soon...

We’re heading home soon but you can book on the website 24/7. Wednesday morning is busy but there’s plenty of space later in the day.

If only kiln loading was this fast in real life! Bank Holiday Monday 600 litres of pottery glazed and loaded. Shame I can’t take a video the right way round though!!

We’re just going back in to unload a kiln now.

We’re open Wednesday-Sunday this week!

Wow! What a week we’ve had! Keep it coming you wonderful lot!

This week, we’re open for pottery painting Wednesday - Sunday 10-4.30 and relaxed adult night on Wednesday 6-8 for anyone aged 16+. We’re bubble painting this Wednesday evening for anyone who fancies it, or just come and do your own thing.

We have 2 spaces in Clay Class on Friday and 4 spaces on Saturday, both at 11am. This is a hand building class and suitable for anyone aged 14-114!

We’re packing like mad after being held up by the hot weather. It was just too hot to have the kilns on and keep the studio open. Most people are unaffected but a few are waiting a bit longer…sorry, but we did love the sun.

Walk In space all day today. It’s nice and steady but we do have space in all three sessions at the moment so should be able to allow extra time for bigger or more complex paints.

We have ‘back in stock’ items you’ve been waiting for (the little ‘rubber duckie’ has been a very long time coming!) and lots of stunning new pieces too. Halloween pottery very much on the move, but we have more coming and we’re making too. Ssshh, Christmas pottery is creeping in but slowly slowly, we don’t want to overwhelm you!!!!

I did the whole alphabet today!!!

There are textured ones or plain ones for you to paint from Wednesday.

We can also make personalised letters for you…see the end of the video. 😘
