It was so lovely to see all the children joining in the Easter fun this morning, all so pleasant and polite🥰.
Big thank you to Thetudortavern East Preston for supplying the treats the Easter bunny gave out.

Tomorrow, East Sunday morning, Come and find the Easter Bunny 🐰

A special Easter treat for the children of the East Preston from the Yarnbombers.

Join us from 9:30am on Easter Sunday, 5th April, along the eastern side of Sea Road, between the northern shops and The Tudor Tavern.

To make sure as many children as possible can join in the fun, please take one chick or bunny per child.

Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny, who will be handing out treats - generously provided by

East Preston Village Hall 10:00 - 15:00

The Yarnbombers will be there, come and find us to make yarn pictures.

If you’ve been making brown squares, you can drop them off with us there tomorrow

A big thank you to everyone who’s already made squares and dropped them off, it’s really appreciated.
We still need lots more squares, so if you can knit or crochet a few, please keep them coming.

Every square helps!

We need lots of 10cm x 10cm plain brown squares for our summer surprise on Two Acres. We haven’t done a ‘community project’ since we did the poppy cascade for St Mary’s in 2024. Your response to that was amazing, as it was when you helped us with the Christmas Tree back in 2021!
This time we need squares again. You can use any shade of mid or dark brown yarn that you have in your stash. They can be knit or crocheted, using any yarn weight or stitch pattern you like but we’d like them to be quite solid.

Completed squares can be taken to East Preston Parish Council or The Great Dane, both on Sea Road. Our deadline is Easter but we’ll let you know if we have enough before then!
