We now have the samples made up for our ever popular EPP Christmas Candle Mat kits. Abi’s been busy stitching the samples and the kits will be on the website and in the shop imminently! We have Adorn, Nutcracker, Country Christmas and Bluebell Wood. 🪡

Becky used fabrics from the two recent collections by The Original Morris & Co. - Suffolk Holiday and The Trellis Palette to make this stunning cushion. She loves ‘fussy’ or ‘feature’ cutting and the Kelmscott Tree print is perfect for this as the central motif. The cushion cover is 55cm square finished. 🪡

Some of our lovely batik fabrics are available as precuts, in two different colour ways. We have a warm and a cool palette to choose from in 10" and 5" squares and 2.5" strip rolls. ✂️

Do you want to learn an alternative way of finishing your binding? Why not try Fl**ge or Faux Piping binding at our workshop with Emma on 24th November or 8th December? This is a quilt finishing technique that mimics the look of piped edges without the bulk. It creates a tiny, colorful (or plain) accent strip (the fl**ge) along the inner edge of the binding. **gebinding

This amazing (and colossal!) quilt is the latest finished make of one of our lovely customers, Anna. Foundation paper pieced, then using the quilt as you go method, it measures a massive 94” square and really packs a punch! We shared it in one of our Summer Newsletters, but it was too good not to share again! 😍

Make this super easy pixelated picture using 1” squares without the faff of individually sewing together all those tiny pieces by using a squared interfacing and sewing complete rows in one go. This picture is from a free pattern by Tilda which requires 566 squares – using Emma’s method means you can finish the picture (24” square) in a day! Book onto our workshop on 227th October or 28th November to have a go! 🪡
