Meet Nicole 🖤

Nicole has been part of Center Stage for over 20 years, growing from student to class helper, assistant teacher and now substitute teacher.

Here’s a little introduction from Nicole herself:

“I’ve been dancing with Center Stage for over 20 years now, though neither Natalie nor I care to admit out loud that it’s been that long! Since Natalie is my sister, I’ve never known life without her, and at this point, I barely know life without Center Stage either.

Over the years, I’ve gone from student, to class helper, assistant teacher and now my most recent role, ‘substitute teacher’.

While I can’t be at every single class anymore, you’ll still catch me dancing in my own class each week and standing in to teach whenever Natalie or the other girls need backup.

It’s impossible to pick a favourite style, but a good jazz routine will always be a top contender. 💃✨”

It’s the excitement of stepping on stage. The friendships made along the way. Learning to work as a team, building confidence and discovering what you’re capable of.

At Center Stage, our dancers have opportunities to learn, perform, grow and make memories together, both in the studio and on stage. ✨

And with classes in Tap, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Freestyle and Acro, there are plenty of ways to find the one they love.

Rachael has been dancing for 22 years and has been part of the Centre Stage family for the last 9 years.

"I've been dancing for 22 years, and Centre Stage has been my second home for the last 9 years. Ballet and lyrical have always been my favourite styles. Dance has given me so many amazing memories and opportunities over the years, and I'm so grateful to now share that passion with the next generation."

Every plié, tendu and jump is an opportunity to build confidence, develop resilience and discover the value of patience and perseverance.

Over the years, Center Stage has become so much more than the name above our door. ✨

It represents the little moments that often mean the most. A nervous child walking into their first class. New friendships forming. The excitement of mastering a new skill. The encouragement to keep trying. The confidence that grows with every step.

While dance is what brings us together, it's only part of the journey. Our greatest privilege is watching children grow into happy, resilient and confident young people, both inside and outside the studio. 🥰

Along the way, little ones naturally begin to develop coordination, confidence, listening skills and friendships, all while enjoying a positive introduction to dance.
There are no expectations to be perfect.

Every dancer develops at their own pace, and we're here to encourage them every step of the way.
