A throwback to over 20 years ago, when Sarah Kane was in Washington, D.C., working with a Russian director at the award-winning Stanislavsky Theater Studio.
During her time there, Sarah performed the one-woman show If You Had Three Husbands by Gertrude Stein, a co-production with Chicago’s Alchymia Theatre.
She read. She drank tea. She even danced a jig. But, above all, she spoke- delivering Stein’s rhythmic text with a natural cadence and crisp enunciation that drew the audience into the words.
More than two decades later, Sarah’s exploration of speech, language and performance continues through Performing Arts International.
