Mossy Crow is an invitation to reconnect to wild imagination through play, creativity and nature.

Mossy Crow started as a collaboration between two artists, makers and illustrators Trix Robertson and Miranda La Mutanta. The Mossy Realm evolved from elaborate collages to books, films, puppets, costumes, theatrical sets. Inspired by the Cornish landscape and folklore, Mossy Crow creates an ever changing and expanding Mossy Realm populated by creatures of the wild imagination.

These creatures emerged into the human world in the guise of the Mossy Troupe who have entertained humans at festivals, events and other magical spaces.
The common thread through all of this work is the impulse to connect with the wild imagination and the desire to inspire and encourage everyone to go outside and discover magical creatures for themselves.

Sophie is a mushroom artist known as ♡ Mystical Mycelium ♡

Her works focus is on fungi and woodland finds, to provide an eternal recreation of the forest. To produce each art piece, Sophie ethically and sustainably forages all materials by hand from various locations across the UK and Ireland. She then casts them in high quality Epoxy Resin to produce art and functional art pieces that other fungi lovers can treasure permanently. In each piece, Sophie seeks to tell a story of the forest, with the identity and environment of the fungi in mind, she aims to present a natural reflection of the environment of the fungi in each piece.

All of Sophie’s creations are unique one of one pieces.
She has been working on her art for around four years, with each piece being to a considerably high standard finish.

Her product catalogue is ever expanding, so she expects to have some new and never before seen pieces with her at All Things Fungi Festival!

Olivia Holtman has a habit of showing up wherever people are exploring what it means to feel human - from NHS clinics to yoga mats and muddy festival fields. She has worked as a therapist on a Phase 3 ketamine trial and is now completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Her research explores the therapeutic potential of mystical experiences within altered states of consciousness, with a particular focus on addiction and depression.

Olivia’s work nudges at the edges of tradition, seeking fresh ways to bridge science and spirituality. Since training as a yoga teacher in 2016, she has facilitated psychedelic integration groups, managed festival welfare, and led yoga and breathwork practices. Her work brings together psychology, embodiment, and community, creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the wisdom of nature.

The Culturing Dish is a growing grassroots network for people who find themselves circling back to fungi, whether through science, growing, art, land work, education, foraging, or simple curiosity. It was created for people who might otherwise be working in separate little pockets, especially those near the beginning of their mycological journey, so there is somewhere to meet and feel part of a wider fungal community. This session will begin with a short introduction to The Culturing Dish: why it started, what it is becoming, and what we have been hearing from the community so far. From there, we will open into a wider conversation around the question, “How is mycology changing for you?” Rather than fixing the panel to one narrow corner of the field, the discussion will bring together people with different relationships to fungi and different experiences of the ways mycology is shifting. There will be space to speak honestly about the harder bits: funding gaps, access barriers, regulation, scientific bottlenecks, conservation pressures, and the odd feeling that fungi are suddenly everywhere while support for fungal work still feels patchy. But this is not a doom and gloom session. It is also about what is already beginning to grow: the unexpected conversations, the new routes in, the shared knowledge, and the small but stubborn networks that keep appearing. Basically, a room full of people gathered around fungi, thinking together about what comes next.
Mush love, The Culturing Dish x

One of the best things about our UV Biofluorescent night walks is watching and listening to people see nature under ultraviolet light for the first time.

Who’s joining us this year for a walk into nature’s hidden glow? 💜🍄🔦

Elly is a costume maker and textile artist based in South London whose creations are inspired by our interactions with the natural world. She works with discarded or unwanted textiles and other found objects to tell stories about the relationships we have with our clothes.

Her work seeks to highlight the disconnect between clothing as a valuable form of personal expression, and a global fashion system that exploits people and planet. Elly also creates work to highlight the water pollution crisis and the plight of our rivers. The threads running through her work connect costume history, sustainable fashion and a love of London’s wild places.

Elly uses upcycled fabrics along with eco-printing and natural dyeing to create inspirational materials for her
“Let’s Patch Things Up” workshops, encouraging people of all ages and skill levels to try simple techniques to mend their clothes. Elly believes that sewing is for everyone and that repair is a radical act!
