Our public bus tours this week:

Thursday 11th: 10:30, 11:30, 13:00, 14:00 & 15:00
Friday 12th: 10:30, 11:30, 13:00 & 14:00
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th: 13:00, 14:00 & 15:00

No need to pre-book. Buy your tickets on arrival at reception or the cafe. Adults £4, Concessions £3 and Under 5's go free!

This weekend we have guided bus tours running on Saturday at 1pm, 2pm, & 3pm and on Sunday at 10:30am, 11:30am & 1pm. Our cafe is open as normal until 4:30pm (hot food stops 3:30pm) and the visitor centre is open until 5pm. Have a lovely weekend! 🙂

This Sunday is the Scottish Power Renewables Family Fun Day at Whitelee. There are lots of free activities for all the family and an opportunity to learn about the windfarm and renewable energy.

We will be running public bus tours on Saturday at 10:30, 11:30, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00.

There will be no public bus tours on Sunday, but the shuttle buses will be available to transfer people around site.

The centre is open from 10:00 to 17:00, with the cafe closing at 16:30.

This weekend the weather forecast looks good, so it is a good time to visit Whitelee. The centre is open from 10:00-17:00 every day, with the cafe open from 10:00-16:30.

Due to driver illness we will not be running any bus tours on Saturday (23rd).

On Sunday (24th) we are running a special History Bus Tour with local author and historian, Susan Hunter, at 10:30. Tickets for this special tour can be purchased online here, https://buytickets.at/whiteleewindfarmvisitorcentre .

On Bank Holiday Monday (25th) we will not be running bus tours again to driver illness.

Coming up on the 31st of May is the ScottishPower Renewables Family Fun Day with lots of free attractions and things to do. See our other post for full details.

Our Cafe and Visitor Centre will be open as normal from 10am with last hot food served at 3.30pm.

This is my last FB update as Visitor Centre Manager at Whitelee. It has been great to work with the team here and I will miss everyone. Thank you also to those I have met at SPR who have supported me along the way and I look forward to watching the future of the site from a distance. Finally a big thank you to our visitors - we appreciate your custom and I hope you continue to enjoy the coffee, cakes and sandwiches for a long time to come.
I wish the team every success going forward.
