UPDATE FOR TODAY!

As the Solar Eclipse draws near we do have some updates.

As of now, the weather is not looking great. Cloud cover is predicted and unfortunately you might not be able to see it. This depends on how thick the clouds are but as of now we cannot guarantee you will be able to see the Eclipse from Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre.

If you still wish to purchase eclipse glasses in the off chance we will be selling them from the Visitor Centre for ยฃ1 a pair from 3PM onwards on a first come first serve basis.

We have a limited supply. We will be selling ONE per person or TWO per family.

It is not advisable to stare at the eclipse for the entire duration, which means if you miss out on glasses you can hopefully share with others.

If you are booked in with us tonight for one of our Eclipse workshops or walks, you will receive a pair of glasses as part of your ticket.

If you have booked in with us and wish receive a refund you can contact us at

โ€ผ๏ธ Please read the whole post for full information.
For those interested in purchasing solar eclipse glasses ๐Ÿ˜Ž, we have a limited supply which we will be selling for ยฃ1. These will go on sale at 3pm August 12th. You can purchase these from reception in our visitor centre โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒ•

โš ๏ธ Due to a high demand for these glasses we will have to limit the sale of them to one per couple, max two per family/group. It's important to note that even with the glasses you should only look at the eclipse for short bursts of time which will make it easier to share the glasses around larger groups โš ๏ธ
