A little announcement from K-Inks 🖤

It’s with a very heavy heart that we have to share that K-Inks will be closing its doors at the end of October.

We are absolutely gutted to be making this decision. After a lot of thought, we’ve decided not to renew our lease. With the ever-increasing costs and overheads of running a studio, we’ve had to make the decision that feels right for the future.

We’re incredibly grateful to every single person who has supported K-Inks, trusted us and walked through our doors over the years. ❤️

We’ve still got a couple of months left, so let’s make the most of them! 🖤

A piercer says she has seen injuries caused by piercing guns become increasingly common in the four years since she became a professional.

Lucy Quinn, from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, says the worst injuries are those people have caused themselves using at-home piercing kits and piercing guns bought online.

The Welsh government says the safety of these kits "cannot be guaranteed" and has advised people to go to a fully licensed piercer at approved premises.
