ORNAMENTAL BODY STUDY

I’ve been exploring a different kind of ornament lately.

Less jewellery-like, less symmetry, less focus on the ornament being the finished object — and more on how it can fragment, move and follow the natural lines of the body.

Lots of negative space, irregular forms and details that disappear and reappear across the skin.

These are studies rather than fixed designs, and I’d love to develop this into custom pieces with clients — whether that’s a small fragment or something connecting different parts of the body.

This is a placement-led design following movement across the shoulders and upper back.

It’s drawn to work with the body rather than sit on top of it like a sticker, allowing the natural structure of the shoulders and back to become part of the composition.

This concept is available to book as shown, or similar designs can be created in a Collector Session.
