🌟We would like to wish all of our music students and their families a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year 🌟

Lessons continue up to (and including) Friday 18th December when we pause for the Christmas holidays and will recommence on Monday 4th January 2020.

Lockdown no. 2 (million, 500,00 and 89 it feels like!) . We hope all our followers are well. We have made the decision to move all our lessons online for the time being, for the safety of our students, parents/carers and tutors.

Stay safe everyone and if you’re looking for something to fill the time this weekend, North East Family Fun have shared some lovely ideas ⬇️

A few things to look forward to this weekend :

❤️ There is no rain forecast for Saturday. Now is the perfect time to plant Tulip bulbs for a Spring display

❤️ Fenwick's Window will be unveiled online via their page. Tune in on Sunday from 6:45pm

❤️ It's movie week on Strictly

❤️ Today is National Nacho Day (as if we need an excuse to eat nachos)

❤️ It's David Guetta's birthday on Saturday if you fancy a kitchen disco

❤️ It's Gordon Ramsay's birthday on Sunday - why not try one of his recipes?

❤️ There's an I'm a Celebrity special on ITV on Sunday night

❤️ We *might* actually find out who has won the Presidential election (please don't tell me they stop counting over the weekend 🤣🤣)

❤️ Remember, if you need someone to talk to or to escape your four walls, you can meet one other person from another household outdoors in a public space if you socially distance and under 5s are not counted.

👻 S P O O K T A C U L A R H A L F T E R M 🎃

We hope you all have a great half term after what has been a very strange time in school. Music lessons are continuing over half term here at The Northern Arts and Soul Co as well as lots of Halloween trails and spooky arts and crafts!

Singing lessons are very nearly full, so if you were hoping to take advantage of our free taster lessons please message us as soon as possible.

I T ‘ S B E E N A W H I L E...

But we’re back! Not that we ever really went away but following our launch back in 2018 things got a little busy - I was offered an unexpected opportunity to lead a creative arts faculty at a local school for a year, Baby Harriet was born, we upped sticks and moved to the country (wouldn’t recommend moving house with a newborn), then maternity leave and a world-wide pandemic, you know, just a few things.

I am delighted to say that The Northern Arts and Soul Co is back in full swing! Music tuition is continuing in our new Covid safe music studio in beautiful Weardale and we have also introduced online lessons which are going down a storm!

More details to follow shortly but in the meantime our inbox is open and welcome back! 🌟
