The Backroom Band 4-piece multi-instrumental/vocal harmony rock band. Eclectic mix of covers from Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Isley Brothers, Janis Joplin, Anastacia, etc.

The Backroom Band are a four-piece multi-instrumental and vocal group based in the NE of England. We're very eclectic but hark back mostly to the rock'n'soul golden era of the 60s and 70s, featuring covers of classics by artists such as Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Janis Joplin, Anastacia, The Band, and the Isley Brothers. Featuring guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, we also add a second lead guit

ar, harmonica and alto sax into the mix, alongside rich 4-part vocal harmonies. Our only rule is that we play what we love and transmit that enjoyment to audiences. The line up is: Doug (keyboards, guitar, harmonica, vocals); Jude (vocals, bass, sax); Stan (drums, vocals) and Tony (guitars, vocals).

Tow Law Town Association Football Club is an English non-league football club from Tow Law, County Durham, currently playing in the Northern League Division Two, in the tenth level of the English football league system. The team, nicknamed "The Lawyers", play their home games at Ironworks....

We're back in business after we had to send one of the band in for urgent repairs! (aka an operation, which thankfully was fully successful)

So we're taking bookings again - we have some (though pretty limited) availability in December, but are really looking to fill the calendar in 2019.

Come on, you know you want to hear all these lush new songs we've been adding to the set!
