Hopping Mad? 20 Years Ago, I Said YES!
On 14 October 2006, I said YES… to ME!
I made the big decision to leave school teaching behind and take a leap into the unknown, following my passion for music and dance.
Andy and I organised a little Lindy Jazz launch. We thought perhaps 20 people might turn up.
80 people came!
I was completely overwhelmed! We even had to turn people away, including some who have since become very good friends!
You don't know what you don't know, and I certainly had no idea what lay ahead.
Twenty years later, I'm looking back on an extraordinary journey filled with dancing, laughter, challenges, friendships and so many wonderful memories.
Would I do it all again? Absolutely!
I'm so glad I said YES, and incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our Lindy Jazz journey.
