Durham outdoor market is closed for the Miners Gala this weekend. But we will be there the following Saturday 18th July

Wonderful week with my Mum in St Ives, with its beautiful light and sea of ever changing blues and greens.
Visited all the art galleries - Tate, Penwith, Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture garden and of course the Leach Pottery.
Amazingly one of the mugs on the shelf of the place we stayed was an early edition Fieldhouse Pottery mug!!! What’s the chances!?!

I shared a video of making this little Toad Abode a few months ago - well its new owner just sent me a photo of it in situ. Such a cute little pond with some des res toads! 🐸 or possible more like frogs!

Decided to make the most of being up in Northumberland and take my bike for a ride. Came across a very epic stone circle on a hill through a wheat field. The stones all gouged and twisted from the rain - also a cool 12th century castle built by Durham’s Prince Bishop. Ended up in Scotland at one point which was a bit suprise!

So lovely up there 😊
