Tae Kwon Do can offer something for almost everyone and is equally suitable for both males and females of any age. Whilst at our sessions we aim to improve both our fitness levels and our technique in many different areas including, sparring, self defence and patterns. In addition to this we also promote the five tenants of Tae Kwon Do, Courtesy, Integrity, Perserverance, Indomitable Spirit and Self Control.

🏆 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025 - WE CAME HOME VICTORIOUS! 🏆

What an incredible weekend at the World Championships in Glasgow! With 16 countries and over 1,600 competitors, the atmosphere at the Braehead Arena was electric and our amazing team of 15 students did us proud!

Representing our club were:
Mia, Nicolette, Bertie, Jacob, Michael, Alexander, Debs, Fiona, Joshua, Annabelle, Violette, Freya, Oonagh, Casper, and Jackson 💪✨

We’re thrilled to share that we brought home FIVE medals! 🥇🥈🥉

🥉 Debs and Fiona each won bronze medals in their ladies’ sparring categories.
🥉 Annabelle and Violette, competing as “The Three Little Pigs,” took bronze in the P*e Wee blue/red tag team sparring.
🥈 Annabelle also bagged a silver medal in her individual pattern - what a star! 🌟

The opening ceremony was pure magic, bagpipes, Highland dancers, and an unforgettable Scottish welcome. From start to finish, our students showed heart, spirit, and determination on a truly world-class stage.

We are SO proud of each and every one of you. You represented us with pride, passion, and perseverance.

Everybody did a great job a the Scottish championships yesterday, Ten of us travelled over to Ravenscraig to compete, a first time umpiring for Miss Bob too 👏 15 medals came back to Grantshouse well done. Scotland will never forget the Nightmare pigs, Danger pigs, Magic pigs, Powerful pigs and the Ninja pigs congratulations to everyone who stood on the mats I’m proud of you all 🎉
