A week since our amazing Sing for the Lough event and we are still buzzing.

Thank you so much to all the singers, campaigners and spectators who came together to make this happen and to BBC Newsline for featuring our story.

As we sang together -

‘Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone?’

Let’s not wait until the Lough is gone to take action. Let’s save this beautiful space together 🙏

Thank you so much to BBC Newsline for covering our story yesterday. What a wonderfully positive day we had. Lough Neagh looked particularly beautiful as we offered our voices towards it: a powerful reminder of the need to protect this most cherished natural resource.

We’re loving rehearsing the songs we’re planning to sing at the Lough Shore next Sunday 19th April. Can you join us?

If so we’ve love to invite you to rehearse with us this Thursday 16th April from 7.30-9.30 at Ranfurly House Arts & Visitor Centre.

It is a real joy to be singing on the same day on different shores around the lough with Lisburn Harmony and Antrim Community Choir

What a truly special evening we had on Friday night as we shared our ‘Winter’s Tale’ performance with our lovely audience.

Thank you so much to Brian, Tyler and all the staff at Bardic Theatre for all your help and support and to Goisia at Green Bean Cafe for staying open late to accommodate some very well earned refreshments afterwards.

We’re very grateful to everyone who made the effort to join us and we hope you found the experience brought some Christmas magic your way ✨ 🎄

Gathered Voices present A Winter’s Tale in the Bardic Theatre, Donaghmore at 7:30pm on Friday, 5 December 2025.

Come and experience an evening of enchanting music, where an alternative and magical soundtrack to the season will be shared.


Gathered Voices, founded and directed by Mairéad Duffy, was established in 2019 as a community choir, with the aim of bringing people together through the power of music and song. The choir strives to represent the diversity of local communities from across Mid Ulster. As well as being a social and creative outlet, the positive impact of choir singing on mental health and emotional wellbeing is well evidenced and fundamental to why the choir was formed. Rehearsals are held weekly in Dungannon and the door is always open to welcome new members.
