🏐 That’s a wrap on our Summer Block! ☀️

On Sunday, our youngest footballers had their final training session of the Summer Block before a well-earned rest! 🙌

They enjoyed a fantastic morning packed with fun activities before being presented with a medal 🥇 and some well-deserved treats!

A huge thank you to all our parents for bringing the children along to training each week and for helping out at the various stations. Your support makes such a difference, and without you, our sessions simply wouldn’t be as successful. 👏

All of our coaches are incredibly proud of every child and the progress they have made throughout the block. It’s been fantastic to see their confidence, skills and enjoyment of football grow! 🖤🤍

Now it’s time for a little rest… but keep an eye on our socials for details of when our Winter Block will commence! ❄️🏐

Well done, everyone! 👏

Clonoe O’Rahillys wish to offer our condolences to the Doris family and the Dungannon Thomas Clarke GFC club on the passing of Paul RIP. A great Gael and ever a gentleman.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Go ndéana Dia a mhaith air.

Tyrone is greatly diminished by the death, after a long and so effective life, of Paul Doris, another core member of that stellar band of GAA people who came together here over half a century ago and who subsequently developed and led Tyrone GAA to unprecedented heights.

Paul’s GAA contribution was simply inspirational, both at Club level with Drumragh Sarsfields and Dungannon Thomas Clarkes, and at County level with Tyrone. He served as Tyrone County Chair and County Treasurer, and among much else energised a host of GAA committees, developed refereeing, and helped manage Tyrone teams. Beyond Tyrone he was a low profile but highly effective volunteer at Ulster and National levels, bringing dignity, decency and propriety to everything he did. His 2011 Gradam an Uachtaráin | President’s Award only hints at his GAA contribution.

Maireann an chraobh ar an bhfál ach ní mhaireann an lámh a chuir | The branch in the hedge lives on, though the hand that planted it may be gone.

Beyond the GAA Paul made a hugely positive impact on Tyrone through his work in financial services.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Anne, Noellene, Anita, John, and Catherine, to Paul’s wider family circle, to his many friends and colleagues, to the Gaels of Mayo, Leitrim, Drumragh and Dungannon, and to the many, many people whose life journey he improved.

I measc Naomh na hÉireann agus Laochra na nGael go raibh a anam dílis | May his noble soul be among the Saints of Ireland and the Heroes of the Gael.

🖤🤍 LET’S SHOW OUR SUPPORT FOR CIARAN 🖤🤍
Ciaran is our U6 manager, and both of his boys are proud members of our youth teams.
Unfortunately, Ciaran has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 SNUC (Sinonasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma), a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
A recent scan has brought even more difficult news, showing that the cancer has also spread to two lymph nodes in his neck.
At just 38 years old, Ciaran and his family are facing an incredibly difficult road ahead.
If you can show your support, no matter how big or small, please follow the link below. Every donation, share, message and bit of support can make a difference. ❤️
As always, we know our community will come together to support Ciaran, Maria, Caiden and Conan.
Because we are more than just a football team — we are a community. 🖤🤍
Let’s get behind Ciaran and his family and show them just how much they mean to our Clonoe family. 🖤🤍
