Ranfurly House Arts & Visitor Centre houses a multi-media exhibition about Hill of T

he O'Neill's story and place in Irish History, as well as being a busy arts centre with performances, workshops, lectures and classes. Next Wednesday, we welcome back dance artist Christine O'Neill at our Sutemos and Suteminis sessions. 👋

Christine has been on maternity leave and shares what it means to her to be back working these two groups:

"Life as a busy mum is definitely a juggling act. There’s always something that needs doing, and somehow the days just fly by! It’s busy, messy, exhausting and wonderful all at the same time.

But I’m so excited to be getting back to doing something I love. I can’t wait to return to Sutemos & Suteminis, get back dancing, creating, seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. I’ve really missed that feeling of being in a studio, making things happen and sharing my love of dance with others.

It feels like I’m finding a little bit of me again alongside being Mum." ✨💃

Autumn term starts Wednesday 9th September 2026!

💥Suteminis (ages 7 - 11) runs from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Hill of The O Neill & Ranfurly House

💥Sutemos (ages 12 - 18) runs from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Dungannon Youth Resource Centre

No experience is necessary and new members are welcome!

The sessions will include learning different dance styles, creating dances and working towards performances.

ARTIST RESIDENCIES & TECHNICAL PLACEMENTS

Open to all art forms and disciplines, the Artist’s Residency is for early-career artists, giving them two weeks of dedicated space, time and resources to develop their craft or specific creative project ending with an optional work-in-progress showing to a local invited audience. One artist will be hosted by Accidental Theatre and one by An Grianan Theatre in autumn / winter 2026, with exact dates to be decided with the venue and the respective artist. Fee €1,500 (or sterling equivalent). The deadline to apply is 31st August 2026 at 23:59.

The Technical Placements are an open call out for technicians to take part in placements and exchanges with the in-house technical teams at Accidental Theatre and An Grianan Theatre. Placements are tailored to the individual - from shadowing an experienced team on a live production, to getting hands-on with a specific project, to cross-training in a new skill area. Whether you're just starting out or you're an early-career technician looking to broaden your specialism and connections, this is a chance to get involved with real working venues. Applications are rolling with limited spaces. For more info and details on how to how apply visit accidentaltheatre.co.uk/northern-borders
