Stronghold Theatre Dungannon wants to provide a platform for local talent and create spaces for all of the community to come together and enjoy premier, home grown storytelling. We want to cast as wide a net to get as many people involved as possible. That’s why we chose “Wee Plays For Dungannon” as our first project as it gives us the chance to work with *12* local writers.
So why not give it a go, make a start on a story and see where it takes you. You might surprise yourself. We’ve even produced a handy resource page on our website to help you get pen to paper. We’re particularly keen to read submissions from women writers and writers from our new communities so that we end up with 12 plays that cover as many aspects and perspectives as possible. So please help spread the word and encourage friends and family members to have a go!
