We’re looking forward to welcoming Temptation Waits back to Fire Station Creative this Saturday for another fantastic evening of live rock!

Expect a brilliant mix of rock classics, modern anthems, and plenty of songs you’ll know and love. It’s the perfect excuse to get together with friends, family, and fellow music lovers and enjoy a great Saturday night right here in the heart of Dunfermline.

PRIVATE VIEW – SYMBOLS OF THE MIND | 3 SEPTEMBER, 7PM

Join us at Fire Station Creative on Thursday 3 September at 7pm for the Private View of Symbols of the Mind, celebrating Dunfermline-born artist James Cu***ng RSA as part of the Royal Scottish Academy’s RSA 200 bicentenary celebrations. The exhibition brings together Cu***ng’s work with paintings by former students Alexander Moffat RSA, Stuart Mackenzie RSA, Barbara Rae RA RSA, Sandy Moffat RSA and James Fairgrieve RSA, celebrating his remarkable influence on generations of Scottish artists. Wine will be served. All welcome.

It was another Fantastic Fire Station Creative Sunday Quiz last night hosted by Oor Andy with 15 teams attending. Thank you for your continued support in making this one of the busiest quizzes in Dunfermline 😊

The Morettis won the bonus picture round earning themselves £30 in FSC vouchers 👏 and winning the quiz scooping up £60 in FSC vouchers was Jumpers For Goal Posts 👏 Round 5 was replaced with a SNOWBALL ELIMINATOR round with all 15 teams getting a chance of winning £350 cash and The Breen Machine walked away with the jackpot 👏

Well done to all the teams who participated and if you fancy a great night of quiz shenanigans then Oor Andy will be back on Sunday 20th September at FSC kicking off at 6pm. We hope to see you there 😊

Our exhibition MASKS: CULTURE, IDENTITY AND CREATIVITY is now finished. Let us know your reaction to it in the comments. On display were are varied range of life & death masks, and tribal masks from Nepal to Africa.

Join us for the preview night of this special exhibition on Thursday evening in celebration of the Royal Scottish Academy's 200th anniversary.

Symbols of the Mind is a retrospective of James Cu***ng RSA who was born on Damside Street in Dunfermline. The exhibition also features work by his former students Sandy Moffat RSA, Stuart Mackenzie RSA, James Fairgrieve RSA and Barbara Rae RSA RA, whose contributions highlight Cu***ng's influence on 20th Century Scottish art.
