The Dance Academy specialises and covers classes in Tap, Jazz, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Jazz and Ballet (Edinburgh only). Both tutor's are First Aid Trained, Fully Insured and hold Enhanced Disclosure Certificates. Classes are held from Monday to Saturday. Timetable subject to change. Please call for further information.

Once a shy young girl…

Not anymore! Drew has grown into a confident, happy, and rather sassy dancer. 💜

Your kicks, floor work, and tap skills continue to impress us every week.

Every class is a joy to watch as your confidence grows and your personality shines through.

A special mention must also go to our superb Dance Assistants, who are always there to lend a helping hand and encourage our younger dancers.

That’s what makes us a team. 💫

Lacey - brand new to the school and has come on so far, she always works hard and smiles the whole way through!

Frenchi- She's a wee powerhouse of energy, and has been working hard on her opposition arms and high kicks with great technique!

✨ Lyrical terminology – speak my language!

This boot camp is all about building strong, expressive dancers with beautiful technique and confidence.

What to Wear
• Tight-fitting dancewear – leggings, leotard, or fitted top
• Grip socks or bare feet
• Hair securely tied back – you will be upside down!

What to Expect
• Body conditioning warm-up
• Headstands
• Cartwheels
• Bridges
• If time allows – partner work
• Cool down and question time

Whether you’re completely new to acro or already love being upside down, this is a fantastic opportunity to try something new, build strength, flexibility, and confidence.

Moonwalking in tap shoes!

Now that is fancy footwork. Laura taught moonwalking in the Bstreet, you have just perfected that move.

Not only dancing… but gliding too.
Very serious Michael Jackson inspiration happening in class.

You are a clever young dancer — the control, balance and confidence to even attempt that in tap shoes is amazing. Impressive.

Huge well done to you.
