We are absolutely delighted to introduce the newest recruits to our Limelight Productions Management Team as we offer the warmest of welcomes to Michael McLean, GaryGibb, and Carrie Bradley 💚💚💚👏👏👏
Each individual brings their own unique skills, experience, and passion for theatre, and together they strengthen an already dedicated team committed to the future of our company.
Beyond the knowledge and expertise they bring, they also each share a genuine love of theatre and a desire to help Limelight continue to grow, develop, and thrive. As a company built on teamwork, friendship, and a shared passion for the performing arts, we know they will make a wonderful contribution both on and off the stage.
👀 So without further ado, Let’s Meet the New Members.
💚 Michael McLean 💚
Michael joins the Limelight Committee with a wealth of theatrical knowledge and experience. A highly accomplished performer, he has appeared with several theatre companies across Fife, including Markinch AOS, Glenrothes AMA, and, more recently, with ourselves at Limelight Productions playing Roger in Grease and Brit in We Will Rock You.
In addition to his on-stage achievements, Michael brings valuable governance experience, having previously served on the committee of Markinch AOS for a number of years.
Michael also offers an extensive range of technical expertise. As a trained theatre technician currently working with OnFife, he possesses a strong understanding of Theatre Operations, Production Technology, and Set Design and Build. This combination of artistic, committee, and technical experience will be a tremendous asset to Limelight Productions as the company continues to grow and develop its ambitious vision for the future.
The Committee is delighted to welcome Michael to Limelight Productions and looks forward to benefiting from his experience, expertise, and enthusiasm as we continue to build an ambitious and successful future for the company.
💚 Gary Gibb 💚
Gary joins Limelight following a short break from theatre and brings with him a remarkable breadth of experience spanning virtually every aspect of theatrical production. His extensive background includes playing every conceivable leading role on stage, directing, stage management, sound and lighting operation and set design and build, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both performance and production.
In addition to his practical theatre experience, Gary has served on the committees of two theatre companies, holding positions ranging from Committee Member to Secretary and Vice President with KAOS and Kelty Musical Association respectively.
Few people can match the depth and diversity of Gary’s theatrical experience, and we are delighted that he has chosen to bring his skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to Limelight Productions as we continue to move forward.
Again, we are so very pleased to welcome Gary to the Committee and are excited to have him join us with his extensive skill set and valuable contribution as we continue to shape the future of Limelight Productions.
💚 Carrie Bradley 💚
Carrie joins the Limelight Management Team after joining the company for our last three productions—Ghost, Grease, and We Will Rock You. Carrie is also currently performing as one of the Brothers in our upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
With many years of performance experience, primarily as a dancer, Carrie has developed a strong understanding of the commitment, teamwork, and dedication required to deliver successful productions. She has also been an active member of RDMS for a number of years, further broadening her experience within the amateur theatre community.
While this will be Carrie’s first role on a theatre management team, she brings with her extensive experience from a variety of positions within other charitable organisations. Her transferable skills, organisational abilities, and enthusiasm will make her a valuable addition to Limelight as we continue to grow and develop.
We are delighted to welcome Carrie to the Management Team and look forward to the positive contribution she will make to the future of Limelight Productions.
