⭐⭐⭐OUR NEXT INTERNATIONAL BURLESQUE PERFORMER WORKSHOP WITH MAGENTA LUST ⭐⭐⭐

Musicality & Improv - 2:30-5pm Sunday 27th April Studio X Dunfermline.

Come join Magenta with this fun in-depth look into the importance of musicality within performance - knowing your chosen act music inside and out, the beats, melodies and lyrics, and how they can all be used together to strengthen the storytelling of your routine and act development skills.

Having confidence in knowing your music thoroughly also allows for improvisation if and when things go differently to expectations.

Therefore we will also look into building confidence and ability in improvisation. We will have a play with some, what I like to call, Spontaneitease - so please come along with some random, fun song suggestions.

Suitable for beginners for a fun introduction into burlesque and performance, as well as established performers.

Please wear comfortable clothing.
No previous experience required and all genders welcome

Hosted once again by Blue Velvet Burlesque , we return to Inverness on Saturday 16th November with Musicality, Improvisation and Floorwork workshops!

Musicality & Improv with Magenta Lust; 11am – 1pm
An in-depth look into the importance of musicality within performance - knowing your chosen act music inside and out, the beats, melodies and lyrics, and how they can all be used together to strengthen the storytelling of your routine and act development skills.

Burlesque Floorwork with Lady Phoenix; 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Using the art of seduction, come and learn a basic burlesque floor routine incorporating slow sultry movements, hair flicks and plenty of sass.
A 2 hour basic workshop building in confidence and a new found love for your body through learning tricks and a short basic routine within a safe & fun environment. Some moves can be adapted for ease.

Please wear comfortable clothing (no corsets).
No previous experience required and all genders welcome.

Lana is known for heating up stages with their captivating presence and spicy facial expression's, a 7-year International Burlesque Entertainer, multi city producer, and Drag King member of Kashfam.
Lana has enflamed stages and festivals from Panama to Scotland and everything in between!

Toy Hospital’s sound is influenced largely by Midwestern Emo, a subgenre of indie rock that prizes alternate tunings popularised by the likes of American Football and dour Scottish Indie bands like Frightened Rabbit. The end result is a mix of churning fuzzy guitars, twinkly melody lines and lyrics tackling modern.

salute is Brisbane’s Big Bisexual Non Binay who is known as the ultimate transgression. This chaos gremlin has six burlesque titles under their belt, they combine sideshow acts like flame swallowing and a camp comedy style to entice audiences everywhere. They’re an immoral act against divine law and sinning never felt so good. A body to be worshipped in a temple as they are the vessel of damnation. Dabbling between two polar edges! They either wow their audience with Sideshow Burlesque or compel them to the floor with laughter from Comedy Burlesque.
