Thank you so much for a beautiful day at Lauriston Castle 🌸

It was such a special experience to perform among the cherry blossoms, sharing Japanese and Scottish music with everyone.

I was so happy to spend this moment together with my daughter as well — something I will treasure deeply 💗

Although I won’t be there tomorrow, the festival continues for its final day, so if you have the chance, please go and enjoy this magical place.

Tayport 110th Slow Session – Sunday 19/04/26 🎻✨

I joined the session today and, as always, we played a lot of tunes – but at such a relaxed and enjoyable pace that everyone can take part and feel included.

It’s one of those sessions where the music flows naturally, and you can really feel the joy of playing together.

We even had some lovely guests, Romford ceilidh band from London – bodhrán and tin whistle adding a great energy to the room!

I also had the chance to hear a beautiful wooden flute. Its soft, warm tone was absolutely stunning. I was told that many folk musicians are rediscovering the beauty of wooden instruments and returning to them again.

And of course… the cake during the break was just perfect 🧁😆

Such a special afternoon. Thank you everyone! 💛
