Call for your drawings from Monday Life and Long Pose Class attendees for the DAS Life Drawing Exhibition.

Please hand in
Saturday 27th June 9am - 12pm
at Roseangle Gallery.

The work can be framed or unframed. Unframed work will be hung using bulldog clips on our normal hanging system. You may wish to mount your work on board if the paper is particularly thin or warped.

Summer Exhibition - ‘Peoples Choice’

Our summer exhibition has now finished but we’re delighted to say we had an excellent opening night, good visitor numbers during the week and more importantly artwork sales were also up on last year.

During the exhibition we always ask visitors to vote for their favourite painting.

It was a very high standard of entry this year so no surprise there was only one vote separating the winners

Liz Kay’s ‘Misty Morning’ got the most votes closely followed for a joint second of
Allan Henderson’s ‘Maison sur la Cheruter St Savinien’ and
Teresa Samolewicz ‘Shimmering Harbour’.

Friday evening 19th June Artist Talk Cancelled.

Please note that unfortunately we are having to cancel next Fridays talk at the Roseangle Gallery.
DAS committee apologise for any inconvenience.

Our new season of free talks will be announced after summer and we hope to introduce an additional ‘Mavis Fleming’ talk in recognition of her bequeath and the huge difference it has enabled to our home the Roseangle Gallery.

What's on this week at Roseangle Gallery.
Our summer Exhibition is on daily 11am-5pm, late night opening until 9pm on Tuesday, until Saturday 13th.

Our evening classes continue as normal.

- Monday night Life Drawing classes 7-9pm

Male or female n**e models adopt various short poses to start and finishing on two longer.
Open to non members and there's no need to book just turn up and pay on the night.
Bring your own materials but we provide drawing boards and easels.

Ludwika our tutor is on hand to offer advice as required..

- Tuesday Night Chill Out! 7-9pm

An evening for our members to enjoy working on their own projects in our lovely gallery and meeting like minded people. Although our Tuesday evening is intended for society members you are very welcome to come along and see if it's right for you before joining DAS.
