An A+ for the set of Educating Rita 🤩

Beautifully crafted by Jen McGinley (Set and Costume Designer), Michaella Fee (Lighting Designer) and our Dundee Rep production team, this gorgeous set truly immerses you in Rita and Frank's worlds.

This set was also made possible by all the fantastic book donations! Thank you to everyone that contributed to the set build with their books

250+ kids. 5 Primary Schools. 35+ languages. Introducing We Can Ah Kick A Ba!

As the Men's football World Cup kicks off today, we're celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of languages in Dundee's Primary Schools. Visiting 5 schools in 2 days, we recorded over 250+ children saying We Can Ah Kick A Ba in over 35 languages! What an incredible moment to bring together so many people🤩

Today we also give every primary school child in Dundee a 'Fandana', a protective bandana that protects children's skin from the sun while playing outside. These Fandanas (Fan Bandanas) were beautifully designed by local school pupils to celebrate the World Cup, so every child in Dundee has an item of clothing connecting them to this huge world event.

The kids will wear these Fandanas later today when they all play a game of football at exactly the same time in every primary school, because after all, We Can Ah Kick A Ba!

We've loved creating this project and connecting with so many people around Dundee. Huge thanks to these people for making it all possible: V&A Dundee, ScrapStore, Dundee City Council, NHS Tayside, Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal, and those that sponsored and supported the campaign.

This broadway classic packed with unforgettable music and the iconic story and characters of writer Damon Runyon heads to Dundee in Spring 2027. Performances and on-sale dates are coming soon.

From the streets of 1950s New York to the heart of Havana, step into a world of big bets and bold characters. Follow a cast of gamblers, showgirls and dreamers as they chase luck, dodge commitment, and discover that love doesn’t always play by the rules.

At its heart, two love stories unfold in unexpected ways, reminding us that sometimes the biggest gamble is falling for someone.

Guys & Dolls is a Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, Aberdeen Performing Arts, Eden Court Theatre and Cinema Inverness, Citizens Theatre and Dundee Rep Theatre co-production .
