Completed over 3 sessions.
Stencil used but ended up making more of a mess than being useful or helpful so a lot of elements in here were free handed in the end.

The Ship in the bottle part uses line-work technique using 03RL, 05RL, 09RL- Black, white & grey (I make grey with white & black)

The Kraken part of the tattoo was entirely done in dot-work, 05RL & Black only. Very simple but very effective.

2 very different styles of handpoke work in one big beautiful piece.
A whole lot of fun to create.

So...I don't usually do cover ups. For obvious reasons. Dot work/handpoke as a style isn't really built for the saturation levels required for a clean and successful tattoo cover up.

But this is my boy John and we have been collaborating together for over a year now and have done so many smashing tattoos together. I appreciate the loyalty and the trust he has in me to deliver what he wants everytime.

I always appreciate an opportunity to show off what Handpoke can do in this ever growing competitive, industry. ♡
