Dunbar Highland Dancers Welcome to the page of Dunbar Highland Dancers is based in Dunbar, East Lothian.

The School of Dunbar Highland Dancers is based in Dunbar, East Lothian. Classes are held weekly for group lessons and private lessons are also available upon request.The aims of the Dancing School are to promote the art of Highland Dancing by teaching pupils, performing, competing and through examinations. The Dancing school is open to everyone over the age of 4, regardless of experience or ability.

A huge well done to our DGS pupils Abby, Anya, Aven, Ellen, Jessica and Sadie who were invited to perform at the Sports Awards last night. Their performance featured a mixture of traditional and choreographed Highland dances.

A huge well done to our Dunbar dancers who travelled to Dundee yesterday to compete at the Dancers Against Cancer Competition .

We’re so proud of all our dancers for supporting such a worthwhile cause and helping to raise money for charity.

We are absolutely delighted that Zara won her final 1st place today and has now moved into Novice

Zara has quickly progressed through Beginners with determination, dedication and hard work and she is more than ready for this exciting new challenge. Her love for Highland dancing shines through and her commitment to improving has been wonderful to watch.

Congratulations to all the Dunbar dancers who competed at Tranent Gala today. The weather was kind to us, and thankfully the rain stayed away!

It was lovely to see everyone dancing so well and bringing home lots of medals. You all represented the school brilliantly.
