Watching them watching them.. 🥹🫶🏼🩵

You might ask what has been my biggest achievement over the last 10 years.. and I would tell you this..

From the moment I went off to train at dance college at just 17, I knew I wanted to teach dance because my lecturers were such an inspiration to me.

Then when I became a dance teacher, I thought there was no better feeling than watching my dancers on stage..

But actually.. to grow my own dancers into the most incredible teachers and give them the platform to watch their own hard work pay off on stage and feel that pride in watching their own classes perform is incredible.

I know that feeling they have. They know these kids. They know their pets names, what makes them laugh, who needs a cuddle, who needs help with their shoes, they know who feels the most nervous, who is super excited, who is about to get a new sibling, they know them all.

And watching my girls feel all of that for their kids on stage is the best gift I could give them. They put in the hard work, passion, dedication & commitment. They deserve to soak up every moment.

Personally, I am extremely proud of every single person at In Step but I am overjoyed for my teachers for getting to experience that pride in our kids too. 🩵🫶🏼✨

We have been celebrating a decade of dance at In Step Dance Studios over the last couple of months.

This weekend it all comes together with a huge celebration happening at the Easterbrook Hall this Sunday.

One of the biggest privileges has been watching our kids go through their entire childhoods through our school 🥹🩵✨

Thank you to everyone who has been with us over the last decade.

We wouldn’t be here today without the community making it possible 🫶🏻🩵✨

With hard work in the studio comes great achievement. We have seen such incredible dancing on the lead up to our show. And yes, we do ask you to give it more energy, more emotion, more full out, stretch further, cleaner, stronger, sharper.. because we know you can. You are so capable. We help you to reach new levels. To become the dancers that we know you can be. Yes, we ask you to give it all you’ve got.. we ask for a lot. But just know, we are so incredibly proud of you when you do 🫶🏻🩵✨

We have A LOT to do this week to get us ready for show week and that means nice & full classes so as to get a proper run through and complete routines.
