This one stayed by the window for two days first — because it deserved to be looked at before anything else.
Green and violet. One of my favourite combinations.
Another notebook whose journey I loved witnessing has found its way to the end of our time together.

The read one fills you.
The write one lightens you just enough.
Both necessary. Both carried.

Stevenson walked with books the way I walk with colour — always something to take in, always somewhere to put it down.
These notebooks were made for exactly that kind of pocket. The one you reach for without thinking. 📖

Four sheets.
Four stories.
Not one of them planned.
Pink and coral — the water moved gently that day.
Purple and white — something more restless.
Orange and yellow — pure chaos, the best kind.
Blue — slow, deliberate, unhurried.
Same studio. Same water. Completely different worlds.
This is what a morning in the studio looks like.
And I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have always been a note-taker.
The feeling a book left behind. The turn of a season. The things I lived through, the things I still wanted to become. Scraps of paper, margins of books, loose pages that would find me again when I least expected them.
Then ebru came into my life.
And somewhere between learning the art and making the notebooks — I started gathering myself.
My notes found a home.
Each notebook holds a different story, a different moment, a different version of me.
Today I wrote something new.
Small for the world, big for me
—I passed my theory driving test. 🚗
The practical is next.🤞🏻
The most beautiful part of keeping notebooks?
Whenever I want to go back, I take one from the shelf, sit by the window, and read the water's story first. Then my own.

Not almayı her zaman çok sevdim.
Bir kitabın bıraktığı his.
Mevsimlerin dönüşü.
Yaşadıklarım, olmak istediklerim.
Büyük küçük kağıtlar, kitap araları, en beklenmedik anda karşıma çıkan sayfalar.
Sonra ebru hayatıma girdi.
Ve sanatı öğrenmekle defterler üretmek arasında bir yerde — kendimi toplamaya başladım. Notlarım bir yuva buldu.
Her defter farklı bir hikayeyi, farklı bir anı, farklı bir beni taşıyor.
Bugün yeni bir şey yazdım.
Dünya için küçük ama benim için büyük

Defterlerin en güzel yanı?
Geri dönmek istediğimde raftan birini alıyorum, pencerenin kenarına oturuyorum ve önce suyun hikayesini okuyorum. Sonra kendi yazdıklarımı.

Today in the studio, I had no plan. Just water, paint and whatever the moment brought. 🌊
I always forget how meditative this process is — watching the colours spread, swirl and settle into something completely their own.
You can guide it, but you can never fully control it. And honestly?
That's my favourite part.
This little notebook came out of one of those quiet, unhurried afternoons.
No two will ever look the same.
