Arts D&G

Arts D&G Scotland's largest rural performing arts festival and year-round touring organisation.

Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival supports people in some of the region’s most rural areas to experience world class performing arts. We bring the best local and national artists to our communities; we invest in our performing artists; introduce our young people to live performance and engage people of all ages, from all walks of life, with our imaginative programme. We are the only region wide pe

rforming arts organisation in Dumfries & Galloway and our work incorporates three key strands: the 10-day Festival, Arts Live - our year round performance programme supporting our regional network of venues, artists and promoters and Stage iT - our youth performing arts project. Our 2021 Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival, Hame’ll Dae Me, ran from the 16th – 25th July but our year round Arts Live programme features an exciting line up of artists for you to enjoy.

💙 Part of Arts D&G LIVE

Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy an evening with The Three Inch Fools on 9th July..

🎭 King Arthur and the Holy Fail
📍 Crawick Multiverse, near Sanquhar
📅 Thursday 9th July 2026
🕰️ 6pm performance, access from 4pm

In a land of daring quests, dashing knights, and endless jousting, there lived a would-be hero – waiting in the wings – who went by the name of Arthur. But when Camelot is rocked to its core by a tragic – and frankly improbable – incident involving a large table of an undisclosed shape, Arthur is thrust into the quest of a lifetime.

Will he bravely battle through blistering cold and scorching fire to save his beloved realm, or will he crumble as fate refuses to cooperate? Destiny awaits, chivalry calls, and the quest to end all quests begins. Saddle up – things are about to get legendary.

🎭 Physical Theatre at Summerhall, Edinburgh! 🎭

As part of the Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival 2026, participants joined La Fille Du Laitier and director Jon Lachlan-Stewart for an inspiring workshop exploring physical theatre, movement, and performance-making. ✨

Delivered in partnership with Manipulate Arts, the session brought together artists and theatre-makers from across Scotland for a day of creativity, collaboration, and experimentation!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, to La Fille Du Laitier for sharing their practice, and to for making the workshop possible. 💛
