The Drama Company Fun filled, drama based classes for children aged 3 and up. The Drama Company has also helped many children develop their speech, language & social skills.

The Drama Company is a fun filled, community theatre group that offers exciting drama classes to children aged 3 and above. All classes are buzzing with a friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere and are always on the lookout to welcome new talent into our big family!! Our classes promote learning and development in a wide variety of drama based areas including improvisation, script writing, singing, dan

cing, stage fighting, make-up, costumes and much more! Each year pupils will also have the opportunity to become a star in their very own theatre staged production!! Past years have seen The Drama Company members bring to life epic productions of Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Shrek, Peter Pan, Beauty & the Beast and Bugsy Malone to name a few!! It is a fantastic and safe environment for increasing confidence, boosting self-esteem and of course….making new friends!

Last week we started back with a bang! We told our Christmas holiday stories in the style of Breaking News Headlines 📰

We had everything from angry swans on the loose, chicken wraps for Christmas dinner, swimming adventures and so much more!

We also had the pleasure of welcome some lovely newbies 👋🏼 which officially means that every single class is now full! 💜

🎄✨ What a Show! ✨🎄

We’re still buzzing after our Christmas show, “A Christmas Cracker”! This year’s performance was a wonderful joint production with our Mini and Junior classes, and they were absolutely fantastic — full of energy, confidence, and festive cheer 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us. The audience participation was amazing, and it really helped make the show such a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved 🎶👏

We are so proud of all our performers and grateful for the continued support from our wonderful families and friends.

We’ve had a spooktacular week back at drama this week! 👻

We kicked off with our Minis class Halloween Party with lots of games & fun. We designed & created Halloween masks too. We even had the chance to learn a spooky poem & recite this with actions 🎃

The Juniors enjoyed our annual ‘Best of the Best’ game! We had lots of great trick or treats & jokes, enjoyed throwing the ring on the witches hat & even a game of Halloween bingo 🕸️

The Seniors finished up their music theatre block with The Nightmare Before Christmas. We have a talented bunch who have taken on a range of roles in musicals from Chicago, Shrek & Grease to name a few. As well as actors, we also have fantastic singers in our Seniors class!

Have a Happy Halloween & we will see everyone next week 👻🕸️🎃🕷️💀

⏳✨ Our Juniors class have been Lost in Time! ✨⏳

Each group was given their very own time travel device – a magical watch, key, clock, and flute – and it’s taken them on the most incredible adventures:

🏺Week 1: We started in the pyramids of Ancient Egypt!
🚢 Week 2: Aboard the doomed Titanic!
🦖 Week 3: Then they crash landed amongst the dinosaurs!

We've loved watching everyone's imaginations run wild while travelling through time 🕰️🪈🗝️⌚️

🎭✨ The Seniors have been stepping into the spotlight with a Musical Theatre block! ✨🎭

Each week we are embracing a different show, bringing its songs, dances and characters to life.

🎩 We've gone a bit gangster with Bugsy Malone.
💚 Embraced the fairy tale fun with Shrek.
🎸 Rocked out to the music of Queen in We Will Rock You
..and this week it was all about the amazing songs of The Lion King 🦁

We've also had the pleasure of welcoming lots of new faces to our Seniors class; some stepping up from our Juniors class, as well as some brand new members, making this our busiest class!

The amount of work these guys are pulling off each week, in just 2 short hours is unreal. We might only be 5 weeks in to the new term but we are already BURSTING with excitement at the thought of what this talented bunch could pull off come summer show time! 🎭✨💜

P.S We have a video's from across the last few weeks too but we're sharing the pics now and the video's will follow hopefully over the weekend (after a bit of editing) as I know some of our Seniors are desperate to see them 😂

✨🧙‍♀️ Look at the magic we’ve been creating recently at The Drama Co with our Mini's class! 🧙‍♂️✨

Over the past few weeks our youngest members have been diving into a world of wonder and imagination.

🪄🎩 Week 1: We discovered the mysteries of The Magician’s Hat – transforming ourselves and each other into all sorts of creatures!

🏫✨ Week 2: Everyone enrolled at Wizard School, casting spells, mixing potions, and finishing with an exciting flying lesson!

🦸‍♀️⚡ Week 3: We unlocked our Superhero Magic Powers and used them (and our imaginations) to save the day!

The children have been creating, performing, and growing in confidence each week. We can’t wait to see where their magical adventures take them next! 🌟

Wow wow wow! 🤩🎭

What a spectacular summer show season it has been!

Four fabulous performances of The Wizard Oz, from across our three classes, in the space of seven days 🤩

A big thank you to all the business and people involved with bringing our shows to life - we couldn’t do it without you! 💜

And of course, huge congratulations to every single one of our members for all your hard work and amazing performances. We could not be more proud of you all.
