🍂 A Leaf of Remembrance — A Love That Lasts Forever 🍂

Here at Forget Me Not Memorials, we’re delighted to introduce our beautiful new Memorial Tree, a special place dedicated to remembering those we love and miss every day. ❤️

Our rustic tree will hold beautiful stainless steel oak leaves, each individually engraved with the name of someone special who is no longer with us.

❤️ The very first leaf to be placed on our tree is in memory of my own dad, Peter McColl.

This makes the tree especially personal to me, and I hope it will become somewhere that other families can feel close to their loved ones too. It’s a lovely thought knowing that my dad’s name will be there alongside so many others, each with their own story and special memories.

With Christmas approaching, we know how difficult this time of year can be when there’s an empty chair at the table and someone special missing from our celebrations.

We hope our Leaf of Remembrance will make a thoughtful and meaningful Christmas gift, or simply a lovely way to keep someone’s memory alive. 🎄❤️

🍂 A Leaf of Remembrance

Each personalised stainless steel oak leaf will be engraved and displayed on our memorial tree.

💙 £50 — 1 full year

💙 £80 — 2 full years

At the end of your chosen period, you can collect your engraved oak leaf to treasure at home forever, or choose to renew for a further period so it can remain on our tree.

🌳 More Than Just a Memorial Tree

We don’t want this to be just somewhere to display names. We want it to become a special little place in our community where people feel welcome.

We’ll be adding benches around the tree so you can come along, take a seat, spend a little time remembering your loved ones, or simply enjoy a bit of peace and quiet.

And if you fancy a cup of tea or coffee and a wee chat, our door will always be open. ☕❤️

You don’t need to have a leaf on the tree to visit. Everyone is welcome.

We know that grief doesn’t have a time limit, and sometimes having somewhere to go and someone to talk to can make all the difference.

Our hope is that this tree will grow over the years, not just with leaves, but with love, memories and a sense of togetherness.

Looking for recommendations 😊

I have a bit of spare space beside my office at the yard in Dumbarton, and I’m thinking about putting up a tree where local people can leave messages in memory of their loved ones.

My initial idea was a Christmas tree that people could add messages to during the festive season, but I’m also considering something more permanent that could stay up all year round for families and friends to leave messages, memories, or tributes.

Can anyone recommend any suitable options or point me in the right direction? I’d be grateful for any advice or suggestions.

I’m willing to spend around £2,000 on the right solution.

10 years ago I started the business and my dream was to have my own yard.

If anyone is looking for something a bit different for their loved ones resting place we currently have a limited number of salvaged metal art flower holders for the graveside.

Theses are absolutely amazing and hand made from a young guy called Jack Smyth from Clydebank (salvaged metal art)

Have limited number of robins and Scottish thistles these can be painted to let them stand out more.

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing other stuff for the cemetery like art work to surrounds for your loved ones resting place.
