My name is Sophie Bond.I am a professional singer and have been in the industry for 13 years. I have been performing since I was 8 years old and did regular auditions all over the UK and in 2011 I appeared on the UK Xfactor and reached the final 16 girls in bootcamp at Wembley arena. I was 16 years old and looking back I think the show opened up many doors for my career. I went to college for 2 years studying acting and another 3 years at the University of central Lancashire where I gained a degree in Music Theatre. I have been a vocalist onboard Silver seas which is one of the most luxury cruise liners in the world, and also worked for the worlds most popular cruise line; Carnival cruises as a vocalist and performer. I’m grateful to the musicians that have accompanied me along the way including musicians in Ukraine and all the cruise line musicians and my wedding bands over in Dallas Texas. Although my personal singing career hasn’t come to an end I have started exploring more and more avenues for how I can use my personality and possibly talent to help others
Over the past 2 years I have found a lot of comfort in helping others in need so I began supporting adults and young people with mental health and mild to moderate learning difficulties. I have a huge passion for helping people and during the pandemic I have been taking part in different training courses to gain more knowledge. Helping people also helps me and my own happiness is also so important so I have recently set up a personal business where I am offering singing / performing lessons. In these lessons i can help with what I believe is one of the most important things to help you in every day life , which is confidence!
