Bloom Dance Company - BDC🌸

We are incredibly proud to introduce Bloom Dance Company – our Competition & Vocational Training Programme.

As Bloom Studios continues to grow and evolve, so do the opportunities we offer our dancers. Bloom The Company has been created to provide a more structured training pathway for dancers who are passionate about developing their skills, challenging themselves and working towards their individual goals—whether that's competing, performing, progressing to vocational dance college or pursuing a career in the performing arts.

It is a new way of training, bringing together focused competition and vocational development under one programme.

At Bloom Studios, every dancer is valued and every dance journey is different. BDC simply provides an additional level of specialist training for those who choose to follow the competition and/or vocational pathway, while our recreational programme continues to be at the heart of everything we do.

Alongside dedicated training, company dancers will have access to exciting opportunities as the programme continues to grow.

We are so excited for this next chapter and can't wait to watch our dancers continue to grow—not only as performers, but as confident, hardworking and supportive young people.

BLOOM BEGINNINGS - PRE-SCHOOL DANCE PROGRAMME🌷🌱

Watching children discover dance for the very first time is something really special, and our Bloom Beginnings programme has been created to make those early experiences fun, positive and full of imagination.

Our Tiny Toes classes (walking–2 years) are the perfect introduction to music and movement with a parent or guardian, while Tiny Toes Big Steps (2–4 years) help little ones grow in confidence as they begin dancing independently.

Through stories, music, props and plenty of smiles, children develop coordination, balance, listening skills, creativity and confidence—all while making new friends and having lots of fun.

If you're looking for a welcoming first dance class for your little one, we'd love to welcome you to Bloom Studios.

🌸 It’s always sad when our seniors’ dance journey with us comes to an end.

This summer we said goodbye to Freya, Sarah and Maisie, who have all been part of Footworks for many years.

Freya started with us at just 3 years old and has been a dedicated member of our competitive team for many years. Hardworking, positive, polite and always a team player, she has been a great example to our younger dancers. We wish her all the best as she heads off to Manchester University.

Sarah joined Footworks at 8 years old and has been a valued member of the school ever since, taking part in our shows and events throughout the years. We wish her lots of luck as she also heads off to university and starts her next chapter.

Maisie started dancing with us at around 4 years old and, for the last four years, has travelled from Hull each week to train at Bloom Studios. Always hardworking, positive and smiling, her commitment to her dancing has never gone unnoticed.

We’d like to thank all three girls for the many years they have spent with us. They leave as respectful, hardworking and positive young women and have been great role models for our younger dancers.

Dance teaches so much more than steps, and we know the qualities they have developed over the years will stand them in good stead for whatever comes next.

Good luck Freya, Sarah & Maisie — thank you for being part of Footworks and Bloom. 🌸🙏

What a fantastic few days at our Wildcat Summer Dance Camp! ❤️🖤

A huge thank you to Lauren for putting together some amazing dances, fun crafts and activities that kept everyone smiling from start to finish. It was brilliant to see so many new friendships made, confidence grow and lots of memories created along the way.
