Hi everyone, a sad little post from me today.
After almost 11 years of crafting for all the wonderful weddings, new babies, memorials, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, new seasons and much much more, the time has come to say goodbye to all things Glitzy Witch.
This last few years for me have seen a flooded crafting market, the cost of living hiking ever upwards (completely understand that people have bills to pay over getting gifts), social media algorithms suppressing posts from business pages resulting in little to no reach or engagement on my posts, suppliers closing down, uncertainty and more hoops to jump through regarding brexit impacted postage among the suppliers I use mostly based in England (no local suppliers unfortunately) Obviously getting supplies is key in being able to continue to offer getting all your unique hand crafted gifts in one place.
The truth is simply, for all these reasons, sales are not what they used to be and Iβm a firm believer in letting go of things that no longer serve you.
I have truly loved making all the personalised gifts for you all over the years, I have met some amazing people, laughed with many of you during some exciting and happy times and cried with some during some deeply sad and difficult times. I remember you all and hope to see you down the road at some point.
Soβ¦ all that remains is for me to say THANK YOU! thank you to each and every person that bought, commented, shared, liked and spread the wordβ¦ you supported me more than you know during some of my own difficult days and Iβll always be grateful for that.
Youβll still be able to order personalised items until November 1st so if there was something you had in mind for weddings or Christmas etcβ¦now is the time to order π
Iβll continue to post reminders and closing down offers between now and November.
Iβve had the best time, youβve all been amazing!
Debbie, Glitzy Witch πx
