Active friday! We introduced 2 new games.. i managed to get hold of a basket ball hoop for us and we got a new fun fill my trousers game! Basically i get to run round in massive trousers whilst the residents throw balls at me 🤣 lots of belly laughing at that one today! Me and mary also went for a little walk out the front for some fresh air before it started raining and we retreated back inside 😅

This morning we had our residents & family & friends meeting. Where we could discuss everything and really dive into the residents needs and wants. A lovely morning with tea and cake and great conversations and ideas 💡

Wow what a busy happy day at Laureston we have had, apart from Bingo we had Rose the Chiropodist and Nicky Hair dresser. The day started off when Colin asked Tracie if she would like to dance with him it was a lovely thing to watch Colin smiling and a perfect dancer. But on to our winners at bingo. Lines - John x 2, June & Colin. Full Houses - June x 2 Mary B, & Colin. We all had so much fun. ❤️

Chocolate & Banana Muffins 😋 today we baked some gorgeous muffins which we tried before dinner 🤫 and were lovely and whilst they baked we finished off our puzzle that we started the other day! Cant wait to start another

Our Barbs 90th birthday! What a lovely celebration we had with friends and family! We had Natalie singing for us which everyone loved singing and dancing too 💃🎤 a beautiful fish n chip tea and ice cream from the ice cream van for the whole Laureston house courtesy of Barbs amazing family. Thank you. Happy Birthday Our Queenie 👑

A few different things going on today, firstly its National Dog Day so Anella came in for a visit to see everyone 🐶 you can really see how much our residents love animals.
Then we were gifted flowers from Phylis's family ❤️ thank you very much, which we made into lots of little displays which are now around our home 🤗 and then it was our Des's 94th birthday so we all went and made a fuss of him and had cake! 🎂🥳

Bingo on a beautiful day, too hot to go out side but we had a fun morning. Our Winners today were - Lines - John x 2, Pamela, Mary & Barb. Full Houses - June, Vera, Pamela & Mary M. Full Houses - June, Vera, Pamela, Mary B & John. Looking forward to next time. ❤️
