The sun shone, the torrential rain fell but nothing dampened the spirits of our 7th ClayDate!! Thank you to everyone who joined us in our annual celebration of all things clay!! The raku crew survived the downpours and ensured all the glazed ammonites were fired! The font of all knowledge geological and botanical Mel Wrigley left everyone she spoke to in complete awe as she imparted her knowledge of Doverโ€™s incredible geology and botany, and the wonderful Maison Dieu team entertained with their fossil digs and sabre tooth tiger tooth!! The Ceramic Art Dover crew brought our love for this messy,magical, material we call clay and spread our enthusiasm with all who joined us. Thanks so much for coming!! And a huge thanks to Roger Parish and The Maison Dieu for helping to fund our event today and to for letting us use Biggin Hall! Hurray for Clay!! See you next year!!!
