HIGHLIGHTS from 2025 🎨🖌🌈☀️🐝🌊

2025 was a year of living as well as working. So sometimes I felt as though I may not have painted as much as usual. But these are the parts I do remember well:

🧜‍♀️ My two tails for Great Tail Trail Wild in Art going up along the coastline for the public to enjoy before being auctioned off to raise money for Julia's House Children's Hospice

🐝 Painting an underpass mural for Wimborne Minster BID including a painting experience workshop for Beaucroft College college students

🐾 Doing some pet portraits! A nice reprieve back to my original detailed style

🫶🏻🪽 A personal and heartwarming project of a miniature tail for a very special family

🌊🌴 Back at Sobo Beach for another year of beach painting and lots of good coffee and drinks! 🍾

🍃 A calming nature mural in Queens Park, peaceful after a busy summer

🐲 A few personal home murals including this awesome firebreathing dragon around a log burner 🤘

🎅 And lastly a long stretch of crazy creative Christmas props for Seventa Events for Bournemouth Christmas Market

What a year 😅 looking forward to what this one brings. 👏

I had the lovely experience of painting this mural near my local area in Queens Park for Queen's Park & Charminster Neighbourhood Forum
This was a wonderful example how a community can come together to bring a mural to life on a wall which was so bare and now so full of life amongst the beautiful community garden. 🌸
It really shows that murals really can go anywhere 😁

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐫 - Après Province

For bar in Southbourne, I designed a vibrant mural sponsored by rosé. The artwork captures the Après Province ethos of savouring those special “moments after” beach activities. With the phrase “from beach to bar”, the mural guides beachgoers towards SOBO Beach Bar, offering both a striking photo opportunity and a celebration of coastal living.

I was proud to be selected to create not one, but two sculptures for the Great Tail Trail—The Ocean is Calling and Sea Life—as part of a public art trail supporting Julia's House Children's Hospice, a local children’s hospice providing vital care to families facing life-limiting conditions.

The Ocean is Calling, sponsored by Mustang Survival, was inspired by my love of cold-water swimming, breathwork, and mindfulness. It’s a deeply personal piece that reflects resilience, clarity, and the strength found in water—a visual reminder to breathe, let go, and stay present.

Sea Life, sponsored by morebus, brought a playful, tropical twist to the trail with a Hawaiian surf-themed design—celebrating the joy, colour, and freedom of life by the sea.

With over 40 sculptures featured across the trail, it was an honour to contribute two unique pieces to a project that combines community, creativity, and a truly meaningful cause.

Some of the students from Beaucroft College had a say on how they felt being involved in this community project. 👏🙌

Art is for everyone, no matter who you are or where you come from. Working in the creative industry has the stigma of being 'poor' or 'not a real job'. By teaching students — especially those with a different start to life — that art can be a career, we are able to provide experience in how to make it so. 🎨🖌

What an amazing evening, we couldn’t have asked for a better setting or better weather to say a final goodbye to the tails!! HUGE thank you to everyone bid on a tail, and congratulations to the lucky few who now own one!

Between you, you raised an TAIL-TASTIC………..(drumroll)………£200,600 for Julia's House Children's Hospice!!! THANK YOU!

More vids and pics to follow in the next few days, but for now, team Tail Trail are going to have a well deserved lie down!

We are beyond excited to share that the Wimborne Underpass Mural is now COMPLETE 😍🤩
Some of the Visual Art Award students took a walk down yesterday to see their amazing work, and that of Kizzi B Creative, in all it's finished glory (photo below) 😁
Please do take a walk through the underpass to admire the incredible artistry 👀🎨

📍 We would also like to forewarn you all that next Tuesday (24th June) 1.00 - 1.30pm the underpass mural will have it's grand unveiling. Therefore, the underpass will be very busy during this time, if you are able to avoid the area or make an alternative route to reduce pedestrian congestion, that would be most appreciated 🙏 thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding ☺️🙏
