Something new is coming to Bliss & Bloom Creativeā€¦

Do you love crafting but struggle to find the time to actually sit down and do it?

Maybe you would love to join a craft group but there isnā€™t one near you.

Maybe local groups meet at times that donā€™t work for you.

Perhaps you have children, caring responsibilities or simply prefer the comfort of crafting at home.

Iā€™m creating something especially for people who want the social side of crafting without having to leave the house.

A regular weekly online space where we can bring along our own projects, craft together, chat, share ideas and enjoy a little dedicated creative time.

Iā€™ll be sharing more very soonā€¦

So I have been playing with all the craft goodies I have accumulated and made this little decoupage shell and I really just love it and can't see myself parting with it. Who would have thought that painting shells could be so incredibly relaxing. Being a little bit of an empath and not being able to help in some very challenging situations happening around me at this moment in time, I have needed some time just to be, not to create a master piece, not to test my skills at something new and extra challenging, but just to make something pretty, something that makes my heart happy. It turns out that painting shells does just that!

I hope this one shares the joy and quiet with you that it gave me making it.

Well, it's my mums 80th birthday today and sadly, we are in very different parts of the world, so can't celebrate together.

She loves the sea but doesn't live near one. I've managed to get my hands on some amazing scallop shells and in honour of her I think I will spend some time today creating some seashell trinket dishes for her. I know she will love one. I will also send some for her friends as thank you gifts for being their for her when we can't be.

Join us every Tuesday evening for a relaxed Creative Circle where you can explore a different mix of beautiful, simple crafts using materials such as:

Wire & beads
Sea glass
Recycled & handmade paper
Beads, textiles & found materials
And plenty of creative surprises!

You donā€™t need to be artistic or experienced ā€” just come along, have a go and enjoy the process.

This isnā€™t just about making somethingā€¦

* Meet like-minded people and enjoy some friendly conversation
* Have a cuppa, relax and connect
