HNY to you all- WHY NOT TRY OUR CHOIR- Have you ever thought of joining or trying a choir? There are many benefits of singing so now might be a good time! We are around 70 voices of un auditioned people who love singing. Reading music is not necessary but is an advantage.

We are led by our inspiring and dynamic Musical Director

Next term we are preparing for the leigh hill music festival, which we are competing in April 2026.

Rehearsals start next week:

Where: Crossways Community Baptist Church, Junction Road, Dorking, RH4 3HB (opposite the vehicle entrance to Waitrose car park)

When: Wednesday evenings, all year, except for July and August.
What time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm (with a refreshment break), after which we enjoy a drink and a catch up at a local pub.

We had an excellent come and sing event last weekend. Thank you to all whom came and supported and to those who helped organise it. These occasions are an opportunity for us to learn a piece of music we wouldn’t otherwise sing or for people who would like to try singing with us for a day. Rehearsals Begin – New Members Welcome!
We’re excited to begin rehearsals on 3rd September 2025, 7.30pm at Crossways Church, Junction Road, and we warmly welcome new members to the choir.

If you have an interest in choral singing, we’d love to hear from you. While previous experience is always helpful, what matters most is a love of singing and a willingness to learn.

We don’t hold auditions. Instead, new members are introduced to a Part Representative, who will help you find the right vocal part and settle into the group.

Come and be part of a friendly and supportive choir community – we’d be delighted to have you join us!

Back from our Tour and busy preparing for our summer concert! - not to be missed! Its on this Saturday!

Where: St Pauls, Dorking
What time: 6:30 pm
Ticket Price: £16.00
We are pround to present our Summer Concert 2025 - a Fantasy of Folk Songs.

We will be performing, lead by our FDaniel Mahoneyl Director Daniel Mahoney:

Marten Jansson - Missa Popularis
R. Vaughan Williams - Five English Folk Songs
Cecilia McDowall - A Fancy of Folk Songs

with The Janus Ensemble and Oliver Sullivan on piano, conducted by Daniel Mahoney.

The venue is St Paul’s Church Dorking RH42HT and there will be table seating and you are invited to bring refreshments.

Tickets are available at rehearsal, via this website and at the Church on the evening of the performance.

DCS Romania Choir Tour 2025! We visited some of the most interesting buildings that are both steeped in history and stunningly beautiful. Thanks to for sharing his interesting stories, incredible knowledge, sense of humour and for introducing us to some of his favourite places in Romania.
