1,000 FOLLOWERS = £1,000 FOR Refuge

We’ve hit 1,000 followers!

And rather than just celebrating with cake (although there will probably be cake…), we wanted to use this milestone to help support a cause that means a lot to us.

Sarah is taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon this year and is fundraising for Refuge, supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse.

So we’re setting ourselves a little challenge:

1,000 followers. £1,000 raised for Refuge.

And to help us celebrate, Matt has very kindly donated a private chef experience for four as a prize.

One lucky winner will enjoy an evening of delicious food, cooked by Matt in the comfort of their own home.

Our September tasting menu has had a little change of plan… because you’ve kept us very busy!!

So, after a slight delay, we’re excited to announce that our next five-course tasting menu will be arriving at Seventy Four on Friday 2nd October

A menu bringing together beautiful ingredients, bold flavours and influences from Dorset and further afield.

Tables are limited and our tasting menus have a habit of filling quickly, so if you’ve been waiting for the next one, this is your sign.

Last night we were lucky enough to be invited to AFC Bournemouth’s 2026/27 kit launch — a brilliant evening celebrating the club, the new season and an exciting new chapter for Bournemouth.

It was a real privilege to be there, representing Seventy Four alongside some incredible people from the world of football, hospitality and business.

From our little corner of Dorchester to a Premier League kit launch… not a bad Tuesday night.
