Back to school! But we’re already thinking about October half term when we’ll be premiering Betty and the Yeti Lighthouse Link for tickets is in bio. Thanks to regangreydesign for fliers with lovely illustrations from Ella Burfoot’s original book which the show is based on Macmillan Children's Books We have two school shows on 22nd October. The show has been made with help from pupils at Wincanton Primary and St Michael’s in Bournemouth. Arts Council England Westlands Entertainment Venue

We wanted to share some of the marvellous photos of The Crafty Ladies who have been knitted the most enormous scarf for our October production of Betty and the Yeti. We met outside Lighthouse Poole on a boiling hot day in August and wrapped ourselves, and the front of the building up in a whole lot of wool... it may be summer now but it won't be long until the frozen landscape of Betty and the Yeti is brought to life on stage in Poole!

Thank you to all The Crafty Ladies who have worked on the scarf (which will be in the show!) and to Jayne Jackson Photography who took these wonderful photos in the sweltering heat!

Roll on Autumn!

We may be in the midst of a heatwave but some of us are dreaming of chilly climes and crafting cosy creations in preparation for our new show Betty and the Yeti.

Poole's Crafty Ladies have been knitting a gigantically long scarf for the show, premiering at this October.

Thank you to the Crafty Ladies who wrapped themselves up in wool in 30 degree heat.

And to the knitters: Marilyn, Sandy, Eva, Elaine, Susan, Pat, Janice,  Jan , Sylvia, Allison, Jane, Djennat (DJ), Deborah residents and family members from Evergreens Care Home in Winton.

Had lots of fun up at Puppet Place in Bristol working with performer Remi Oriogun-Williams designer Laura McEwen musician and puppet maker Em Spoor on Betty and the Yeti 🫈 More info to be announced very soon. we stayed in CoalShed Bristol which was a super cool hotel. Lynne
