We Cannot WAIT!!

🌻 Warning: Dorset may be about to get a whole lot yellower... 🌻 We planted a whopping 900,000 sunflower seeds in early May... that's three times more than last year 🌱

Add in the welcome rain we've enjoyed over the last few days (a very different story from last year's drought ), and we're feeling incredibly optimistic that this year's display will be our most spectacular yet.

The first shoots are already starting to appear across the fields, and it's exciting to see the 2026 Dorset Sunflower Trail beginning to take shape 💛

With a little more sunshine, a little more rain, and plenty of patience, we're hoping for a sea of vibrant, colourful blooms ready to welcome visitors later this summer.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to for their generous contribution to the awards, printing 36 cards for each winner’s beautiful artworks!

ART PACKS @ PiP’s!

Art in Poundbury have put together Art packs for young artists under 18 to borrow, completely free of charge! Pop along to PiP’s to pick up a pack which includes watercolour pencils, drawing pencils, water reservoir brush , paper and a clipboard. When you’ve finished, simply return the pack!
