I am absolutely over the moon to reveal that these 4 images have been shortlisted for the Royal Photographic Society International Photography Exhibition 167.

318 photographers from 41 countries have been shortlisted from over 10,000 entries - so I'm pinching myself a little right now!

These original Polaroid photographs are from my series 'The Retinopathy Forest', in which I have explored the visual changes I experience due to proliferative diabetic retinopathy. By decaying the images in post-surgical eye drops, I have replicated the deterioration caused by the disease.

I now have the honour of sending these delicate Polaroid photographs to the Royal Photographic Society for final judging to see which of the shortlisted works will be displayed in the international touring exhibition.

UPCOMING EVENT!
Join me this Thursday 9th April for a very special Artist event at the Museum of East Dorset in Wimborne Minster. In celebration of the Droves and Downs project being displayed at the museum, you are invited to a rare after-hours viewing of the exhibition followed by an artist panel discussion, where you can hear directly from myself and the other three fantastic artists about our approach to the project and how the Cranborne Chase National Landscape inspired our work.

Two of my Ferrofluid images have been included in a public art exhibition of billboards across Cardiff, Swansea and Newport.

The 'Nation of Photographers' project, commissioned by the Welsh Government, highlights underrepresented female and non-binary artists and photographers from Wales. I was thrilled to be invited to take part in this huge commission!
