Thank you to everyone who took part in our workshop poll. It seems that everything was incredibly popular! Our first workshop is going to be Watercolour Cards & Postcards for Beginners!

Join us for a relaxed and creative evening learning simple watercolour techniques in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before or would just like to try something new, this workshop is perfect for beginners.

📅 Thursday 25th June
⏰ 7:00pm – 8:45pm
💷 £16 per person

During the session you’ll create a mixture of 6 beautiful handmade cards and postcards to take home, perfect for sending to friends and family or keeping as little works of art. 🖌️

I was lucky enough to be invited to craft with the lovely ladies of the Quadring Women's Institute yesterday evening. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, conversation, and creativity. Everyone worked so hard and made such fantastic floral art. Thank you for such a warm welcome – I thoroughly enjoyed spending the evening with you all!

We all enjoyed the Scarecrow Trail so much last September that we've decided to do it again this year! Date and scarecrow theme to be released very soon!

We're also holding a Tallest Sunflower Competition, so it's time to get growing! 🌻

I'll be at the library this Friday from 3pm–4pm with FREE sunflower seeds, pots, and compost for anyone who would like to take part in the competition.

We'd love to see lots of entries, so come along, pick up your growing kit, and join the fun! Donington Library 🌻

Today was my first art session in a little while, and what a wonderful way to start back.

The children had a fantastic time decorating their very own cake stands in the lovely shade of the library garden. There was such a warm atmosphere, filled with laughter and creativity.

The session began with the children sketching out their ideas with pencil and paper before transferring their designs onto the wooden stands using acrylic paints. They all did an amazing job, and each cake stand turned out completely unique.

A lovely morning of art, imagination, and lots of smiles.
