The beginnings of this recording and rehearsal studio have been humble to say the least!

Iā€™d say Iā€™m satisfied with the first three months but not happyā€¦.considering where we started, with a building that until last month only had power and lights on one side working in darkness, meaning we couldnā€™t properly get in to clear and sort stuffā€¦..which is still ongoing and likely will be for another couple of months yet.

Challenges aside, so much progress has been made, overhauling, repairing and replacing faulty equipment and making it a place people will actually want to come to through choice and not necessity! A place where people can access help if and when they need it via actual humans in the building. A place where everything works and is in good condition and if something doesnā€™t workā€¦..it is replaced there and then and not left to fail week after week. A place that is warm and welcoming and caters to each band, performer or artists needs as and when, every time they visit.

Half the rooms are open but not finished yet and the work goes on every single week until it is to the level I am happy with, dƩcor, lighting, equipment wise etc etc.

That said with the back drop of the ongoing challenges and trying to show people this is the not the same place / personnel / management as the previous business on the same site, we have still cover bands, tributes, originals visiting and also bands yet to be properly formed or even named! Dance groups, musicians from multi genres including indie, rock, metal, Christian gospel, R&B, folk and Dance and also musicians who just want a place to make some noise, podcasters have already recorded live video podcasts with multi track mixing, and we have recently tracked vocals for some future album tracks which has been done via our new mobile recording studio set up. There is a lot to do and lot of potential to unlock. The road is long and sometimes winding....sometimes unpaved....but we will get there. Iā€™m here for the long haul and I hope you will be too šŸ˜Š
