🎨 A Little About Us – Islandmagee Originals 🌊
We thought we’d tell you a bit about ourselves — especially for anyone who hasn’t heard of us yet!
We’re Islandmagee Originals, a group of local artists and makers who live and create on the stunning Islandmagee peninsula. With its sandy bays, dramatic cliffs, and even its very own puffin colony, Islandmagee is full of inspiration — and that’s exactly what fuels our work. Between us, we cover painting, textiles, ceramics, mixed media and silver jewellery — each piece reflecting a little bit of the landscape and life around us.
We’re proud to be part of the Islandmagee Art Trail, which ran for seven great years before Covid put things on hold — and now we’re back for 2025!
Join us on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August for a weekend of open studios, creativity, and conversation. It’s a lovely chance to meet the artists, explore the island, and enjoy some local talent.
While you're here, why not take in the coastal views and drop into one of two brilliant café/restaurants on the island for a bite to eat or a coffee break? It’s the perfect way to make a day of it.
