CASTING CALL - Aladdin 2026/27
We are now casting for our pantomime production of 'Aladdin'.

Show: Aladdin - Pantomime
Rehearsal Dates: 6th - 13th December 2026
Performance Dates: 15th Dec 2026 - 3rd Jan 2027
Location: The Corn Hall, Diss, Norfolk

We are currently only casting for the following role:

- ALADDIN
A male Identifying actor, with strong vocal and good dance ability. Ideally will have had previous pantomime experience. We encourage applications from performers of all ethnicities and backgrounds.

We can now reveal the cast of our 2026 family Christmas panto, Aladdin, and tell you that tickets go ON SALE TODAY (Wednesday 1 April). 🎉🤩🎟️

We are absolutely thrilled to tell you that we will be welcoming back some Diss panto faves AND that we have a very special cast addition too!

After last year’s smash-hit Beauty & the Beast, SparkLive Pantomimes are back this festive season with a truly genie-us adventure - Aladdin! ✨

Audiences will be thrilled to know that Diss favourites return in style, with the hilarious dame 🌟DAVE SHORT🌟 as Widow Twankey and the brilliant 🌟JEFFERSON PARLETT🌟 bringing the laughs as Wishee Washee.

And leading the cast this Christmas is the legendary 🌟GRAHAM COLE OBE🌟, best known as PC Tony Stamp from ITV’s The Bill, who will be stepping into the role of the sinister sorcerer Abanazar. Expect mischief, mayhem, and plenty of boos - just as Graham describes here.

From hilarious comedy and outrageous slapstick to show-stopping musical numbers and breathtaking magical moments, Aladdin is the ultimate festive treat for all ages.
