A Couple of Bikers

Suns out…bikes out…Nah if only. The big varadero has been in bits over the winter with me trying to figure out why it isn’t running right. Changed a lot of parts but ive came to the conclusion that unfortunately it’s beyond my mechanical and electrical means. Will be taking it to the professionals when I can. Sometimes you have to admit defeat. At least it’s now back together and there were no nuts and bolts left over 😂😂

Little morning at the office followed by a few hours in the workshop. Steph’s car washed and new window wipers fitted. Then Steph’s bike cleaned, followed by headlamp replacement on my car. Three times in two years the drivers side bulb has gone, fitted extended life osram bulbs in both sides to see if it lasts any longer. Picked up a spare 4L of oil when I was at Eurocarparts, taking advantage of their end of year 50% off sale 👍🏻 Not sure if my new apprentice is a help or a hinderance 😂😂

Having some trouble with the Honda for a wee while now, hopefully tracked it down to a faulty fuel pump. Waiting on a new one coming in the post. Now that the plastics and the tank is off I think they might get re-painted or wrapped 🤷🏻‍♂️

Winter has arrived a little early with us and with it the salt on the roads. Very unlikely to be back on the roads now this year. Hope to share some bike maintenance posts over the winter period. Stay tuned. 🤟🏻 -Ade

Hi folks sorry for a bit of a lack of content recently. Life and things meaning we haven’t been out an about on the bikes as much. Also the big Honda has been playing up so awaiting on some parts arriving. Hopefully back on the road soon enough. Cheers for understanding, from your favourite highland biker duo 🙂🙂
